Stardew Valley Maru

Stardew Valley Maru is a villager who lives in the mountains near Pelican Town. She is one of the twelve characters available for marriage in Stardew Valley. She lives on the northern side of the town with her family. Her house is attached to Robin’s Carpenter Shop.

Maru’s Nature

Maru is an outgoing, friendly, nice, and ambitious girl. She has a passion for gadgets and often found fiddling with her tools in her room. She sometimes does odd jobs at a local clinic with Harvey.

Maru’s Relationships

Stardew Maru lives with her parents Demetrius and Robin. Sebastian is her half brother who lives with them too. She has a not-so-great relationship with Sebastian but she always wishes they were close to each other. Maru works for Harvey at the local clinic.

Maru’s Gifts

You can give Maru two gifts per week and an extra on her birthday which is on Summer 10. These gifts will raise or lower your friendship with her depending upon what your gift is. The birthday gift will have an 8x effect and it will reveal a unique dialogue.

Special Events

Special events take place during the gameplay and it will affect your friendship level with Maru. Here is a summary of all the special events and encounters that may happen with you and Maru.

Two Hearts

*Enter the Carpenter’s Shop when Maru is there*

You see Maru and Demetrius are testing a soil sample in the lab. A conversation happens between Demetrius and you about Maru.

Four Hearts

*Enter the clinic when Maru is there*

You find Maru standing in the clinic holding a beaker which she drops because she is shocked to see you in the clinic.

Six Hearts

*Enter the Mountain on a sunny day between 9:00 PM and 11:40 PM*

You see Maru looking through her telescope and she is shocked to see you out so late.

Eight Hearts

*Enter the carpenter’s shop when Maru is there*

Maru tells you about her new project and shows you a machine as well.

Ten Hearts

*Enter the carpenter’s shop between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM*

Maru tells you about the project she finished and showed you a robot that she built to help her parents.

Group Ten Hearts

If the player (you) is unmarried and have given bouquet to all available bachelors, have friendship level 10 hearts with each, and have seen all 10 heart events, entering Emily/Haley’s house will trigger a cut scene with Maru.

Fourteen Hearts

*Enter the farmhouse from 6:10 AM and 5:00 on a day other than Saturday in season other than winter*

*Enter the mountains between 10PM and 1:00 AM on a sunny day*

Marriage Event

After marriage with you, Maru will move into farmhouse. She will add her own room to right of the bedroom like other marriage candidates. She will set up a small area behind farmhouse where she will go work on her gadgets sometimes. She will continue to work in the town clinic.
